I was just his best friend’s little sister.
But he was always more than that to me.
After twelve years of pining over Patrick’s easy smile, baby blues, and captivating charm, I decide to take matters into my own hands—and completely blow my chance.
Who knew a self-proclaimed manwhore would decide to be a gentleman the first time I’m naked in his bed? Definitely, not me. But when I land there again, neither of us has any intention of stopping.
There’s only one problem: nobody can know. Especially not my three older brothers. If they found out, all hell would break loose.
So I’m willing to keep our secret…
Because I want him Wright here, right now.
If you’ve been following K.A. Linde’s Wright siblings from the beginning, then like me, you have probably wanted ball-busting, hard-ass Morgan Wright’s story from the moment you met her. I’ve sat and patiently waited until Linde decided it was her time, allowing the anticipation to build and the excitement to bubble over. Can I just say that she freaking delivered?! The Wright Secret lived up to all my expectations, producing a story filled with angst, emotion, and everything about Morgan Wright that I have come to know and love.
“You two have been circling each other for years.”
My favorite thing about the novel was witnessing the interactions between Morgan and Patrick. When the two of them were together, the chemistry was explosive, but there was something else bubbling beneath the surface as well. Each of the characters grew more firmly into their own skin the more time that they spent together. I loved watching them go from these rigid personalities to slowly morph into these pliable ones, yet still very much steadfast and dedicated. There was something about Morgan that I think a lot of female readers will relate to and make her that much more likeable. She is a strong female in a male-dominated profession, and her struggles are ones that will leave you rooting for her to succeed in every single sense of the word. Her counterpart, Patrick, had such an incredibly addicting personality, especially with how much it changed from those initial couple chapters. He made me giggle on more than one occasion, which led me to easily see how Morgan could hold a life-long crush on him.
“Love is not too strong a word to use when you’ve crashed into each other’s orbit.”
K.A. Linde continues to surprise me with each new Wright release. She somehow tops the previous book and leaves me with so many feels that I don’t ever want it to end. I loved the girl power strength, the cute romance, and the thicker-than-thieves family dynamic that The Wright Secret encompassed. Linde may be running out of siblings to write about, but I’ll be anxiously awaiting for Sutton’s story, and then I’m sure I’ll be begging Linde to revisit them! If you haven’t picked these up yet, do yourself a favor. They are definite not to be missed novels!
