When you find your reason for living, hold onto it. Never let it go. Even if it means burning other bridges along the way.
Things haven’t been easy for Blaire and Rush. The couple has been tested by the revelation of shocking family secrets and a surprising event that forced them to come to terms with their future. Yet there has never been any doubt: their love knows no limits, and they’ll do whatever it takes to stay together.
Now they’re ready to settle down in Rosemary Beach and build a family. For Blaire, it’s a fantasy come true. But while Rush has promised Blaire forever, his loyalty to his spoiled and manipulative sister, Nan, strains their would-be happiness. Rush is ready to be a family man, but which family will he ultimately choose?
Abbi Glines delivers the fun, sexy, and emotional conclusion to Rush and Blaire’s story with Forever Too Far. From the first page to the last, I was consumed by the excitement and drama of this novel, anxious to see what Abbi Glines had in store for Rush and Blaire this time around. These two continued to make my heart flutter, their undeniable connection as strong as ever and their chemistry hotter than it’s ever been. Tender moments, sweet revelations, and heartfelt demonstrations of love and devotion filled this novel, making me grin with happiness for Rush and Blaire. All of their adorable was seamlessly balanced by the scorch marks this couple left on the pages with their blazing hot encounters, delicious flirtatious banter, and sizzling sexual tension. Forever Too Far was sweet and spicy, the perfect combination for an unforgettable couple. Abbi Glines’ writing is as enchanting as ever. She continued to hold me captive with her charming dialogue, smart humor, and vibrant imagery, only leaving me even more addicted to this incredible series.
“What changed you? You’re so completely different from that guy I met back in June,” I said, smiling at his confused face.
Rush reached out, slipped his hand into my hair, and tangled his fingers around the strands. “This sweet, determined, sexy-as-hell blonde walked into my life and gave me a reason to live.”
For me, so much of this book was about the growth of Rush’s character. While the first two books revealed Blaire’s strength and maturity as she dealt with a ton of heartache, Rush still had a long way to go (as was evident by his continually making the same mistakes when it came to his relationship with Blaire). In Forever Too Far, Abbi Glines finally has Rush letting go with Nan and handing out some necessary tough love. As much as I adored Rush before, seeing him finally focusing on Blaire and dedicating himself to being the man that she deserves made my heart soar. There is nothing better than a man who puts his woman first and although Rush certainly isn’t perfect and he makes a few more mistakes, he impressed me over and over again in this novel. The unexpected and surprisingly public romantic side of Rush that Abbi Glines exposed in this novel was just icing on the cake, further solidifying my crush on this swoon-worthy book boyfriend!
“Don’t underestimate her importance. She’s mine. Respect that.”
With each new book in this series, my love for the secondary characters grows. This book in particular fully encompassed the feeling of family that Abbi Glines has so perfectly nurtured with this complicated web of characters. I loved getting to know Abe and Dean better, deepening my understanding of Rush and Blaire and the relationships that shaped them into who they are. I especially enjoyed meeting Harlow and Della. I can already tell I’m going to absolutely love hearing their stories. And just when I didn’t think it was possible, Abbi Glines took my hatred for Nan to an entirely new level, my reactions to her were intense and visceral – a true testament to Abbi’s masterful character development and ability to evoke emotion with her powerful words. The secondary characters continued to bring levity, humor, drama, and depth to Forever Too Far and left me anxious for more from each of the peripheral personalities that make this series so addictive.
“Good ol’ Woods Kerrington was in love. Funniest shit I’d heard all week.”
Forever Too Far was everything I’d hoped for from Rush and Blaire’s final novel and then some. I’m in such awe of the vibrant, one-of-a-kind world that Abbi Glines has created with the Rosemary Beach Series. Each book expands that world just a little bit more, pulling me in deeper with the added intrigue and introduction of new characters. Even though this book is the end of Rush and Blaire’s story, I can’t help but feel as if it’s just the beginning. The plotline has been so thoughtfully executed that as Abbi Glines moved Rush and Blaire towards their happily ever after, she opened up brand new storylines that I can’t wait to explore. Forever Too Far was well paced, allowing me to simultaneously devour this novel and savor each and every heartfelt moment. The writing flows effortlessly, bringing the story to life and allowing the reader to experience every emotion alongside the characters. Abbi Glines serves up another winning Rosemary Beach novel with Forever Too Far, a brilliant and breathtaking conclusion to Rush and Blaire’s epic story.
Forever Too Far was the perfect way to end Blaire and Rush’s story. I forgot how much I loved the up and down realness of their relationship. Throughout their three-part journey, readers have seen two complete opposite personalities fight an attraction, come together, break apart, to then find a common ground and learn to trust one another. This conclusion to their story was one filled with drama, romance, and so many of the traits from both characters that I initially fell in love with.
“Nothing in life was as precious as this woman. It never would be. I’d found my happiness.”
I loved getting to see Rush and Blaire work toward their happily ever after. It honestly felt like this couple was tested through just about everything in this installment of the series. There was family drama and learning to forgive along with learning how to be comfortable in their own skin. Readers were able to see how their love and what they had with each other had grown from a denial of attraction into the beautiful, trusting relationship that so many people strive for. Furthermore, Glines gave both of these characters a backbone that we hadn’t previously encountered. I just adored seeing Blaire get some of her confidence and sass back; it took me back to why I took an instant liking to her character. And then you have Rush who learned what it means to fall in love and he became the man that any girl would be lucky to have.
“But every time I think about forever with you, I’m humbled that you chose me. This is your something blue.”
Forever Too Far is New Adult at its absolute finest. A group of friends is learning to navigate life, love, and shouldering new responsibilities. Abbi Glines has a way with her writing and no matter what, I’m always interested in more. She delivers points of view from other characters in this group so it certainly piques readers’ interests to see just how each of them will change and grow in the future. If you’re a fan of the light, the fun, and the romance, definitely check out this series! You won’t be disappointed!
