The Steele Security family is back in another exciting story of love, loyalty, and sacrifice with Wicked Intentions. A.D. Justice skillfully delivers Rebel’s love story along with the continuation of the surprising and suspenseful security missions that span the series. From the first page to the last, A.D. Justice had me captivated by the intense connection and undeniable chemistry that fueled Rebel’s relationship with Heather. Their deeply rooted feelings and hard-fought love made their story something truly special. These two felt fated in a way that had me wholly invested in their future despite the endless obstacles they faced. Not only did Heather and Rebel shared some seriously raw emotions, but there was also plenty of flirtatious banter and deliciously steamy encounters to keep me grinning. A.D. Justice filled their world with the colorful personalities we’ve come to love from the previous books in the series. The rest of the Steele Security men and the feisty women who keep them in line had me swooning all over again as we got to experience more of their happily ever afters. A source of hilarious antics and inappropriate commentary, Liz also returned, providing the perfect amount of levity for this story and making me laugh at all the right moments.

“He’ll tell me when he’s ready.”
“Or when you use your own counterintelligence techniques against him and start interrogating him,” Noah quipped.
“Right. Whichever comes first.”

I’ve adored Rebel since the first moment I met him, but his life was very much a mystery. I was anxious to see what A.D. Justice had up her sleeve with this character and I was definitely not disappointed. Wicked Intentions revealed a man who had fallen deeply and irrevocably in love at a young age, only to face devastating heartache. His pain was palpable, as was his resolve to honor his love for Heather and the commitment they had made. His unwavering loyalty and unconditional love was powerful and heady, giving Rebel and Heather’s story an emotional intensity that gripped me and refused to let go. I loved seeing the joyful side of Rebel that came out when he was with Heather. She was home for him and I felt as if I was finally meeting the real Rebel. Heather was the perfect match for this complicated alpha. She was kind, loving, strong, and just feisty enough to keep up with the Steele Security crew. A.D. Justice wrote this character with a genuine vulnerability that really resonated with me, allowing me to connect with her and accept her into the family without hesitation. I enjoyed unraveling this character and watching as she and Rebel grew together in unexpected ways. By the time the book was finished, I had no doubt she was meant to be a part of the close-knit family I’ve come to know and love.

“Look at you men. All buff, sexy, and dominant in every cell of your body. Not a single one of you blends in like I do. Face it, I was born to be a spy.”

Since Rebel and Heather are already married when the book begins, A.D. Justice expertly utilized flashbacks to set the stage for their relationship and build the emotions behind their story. As we reached current events, I was caught off guard by Heather and Rebel’s unconventional relationship, however A.D. Justice infused it with an emotional honesty that was refreshing and addictive. I quickly became attached to this adorable couple and couldn’t seem to get enough of their unique brand of love. As with the rest of the Steele Security series, A.D. Justice balances the romance with the thrilling and action-packed overarching security storyline. Wicked Intentions brought some serious heat as tensions reached an all time high and threats against the couples were abundant. My heart fluttered and faltered as Rebel, Heather, and the rest of the characters navigated the dangers lurking in the shadows, keeping me furiously turning pages as I rode out the emotional rollercoaster that was this novel. A.D. Justice’s writing continues to impress, demonstrating both her growth as an author and her innate talent for crafting enthralling storylines and developing enchanting characters. I’m already anxious for more of this incredible series. Wicked Intentions delivers heart, heat, and plenty of humor in one deliciously unforgettable alpha package!
