The Final KO

Synopsis

I fight bitches for a living.

Which makes finding a decent guy hard when you’re a female MMA fighter. None of them have been my equal. I yearn for a man who can push me to reach new heights and challenge me. A man who will treat me like a lady then lift me up by my ass and impale me against the wall.

But when Arson Kade, MMA’s top fighter and notorious manwhore declares he’s that man for me I have my doubts. Any sane woman would.

There seems to be more to Arson than the rumors that surround him, but will it make me fall hard or run for the hills?

I know I’ve got no choice but to hold on for the ride.

It’s the main event and my heart’s on the line

But will it be the Final KO

Review

The Final KO is a fun, sexy, sweet fighter romance that will leave you feeling all warm and fuzzy! This was my first Jessica Florence novel and it will definitely not be my last. Jessica’s writing style is vibrant and fresh, pulling me into the story and capturing my heart right from the beginning. The Final KO was a quick read for me and before I knew it, I’d devoured the entire story. This novel was well paced and unquestionably entertaining. Jessica Florence captured a wide variety of emotions with this story and I found myself caught up in the push and pull between Rayne and Arson. With both of them being professional fighters, I knew their inherent dominance would lead to some serious tension between them but holy wow did they sizzle! Every moment with Rayne and Arson was electrically charged and I could certainly feel those sparks jumping off the pages. The Final KO had a little bit of everything I adore in a book, demonstrating a great balance of feelings, vulnerability, steamy encounters, and witty banter. If you love tough heroines and confident heroes then this couple will steal your heart.

“You do not know me. I am Arson Kade, your future.”

The Final KO definitely had me intrigued from the moment I first heard about it. I absolutely loved the idea of a female fighter and Jessica Florence did not disappoint. This book was a great new twist on the usual fighter romance storyline. It was a fun change to see the heroine as the one who was guarded and in need of someone to break down her walls. As far as heroes go, Arson definitely could have come across as weak because he was the more emotionally available one in the relationship, but Jessica Florence did a fantastic job balancing his softer side with his primal, protective, alpha male characteristics. The Final KO is fairly low on angst, although there is plenty of intrigue to keep the story moving forward. The overall plot isn’t heavy with emotional turmoil so, while there was definite character growth, the extent of Arson and Rayne’s development was limited in the absence of the kind of heartache that digs deep to reveal true character. Overall, this book is perfect for when you’re looking for something to make you grin, blush, and fall in love without putting your heart through the wringer first. Jessica Florence delivers a feisty, charismatic, and surprisingly sweet story with The Final KO.
