Fuck me once, I’ll fuck you twice … then I’ll bury you.
No prison can keep me from seeking revenge. Especially when it comes to her.
She, the woman who put me in jail.
I swore that I’d come for her, to claim what belongs to me: Her life.
I’m not a good man. On the contrary, I love to be bad. It’s in my veins. Just like it’s in my veins to ruin her.
She’s an actress, pretending to be a saint, but we both know that isn’t true. One way or another, she’ll pay for what she did.
I will hunt for her. Make her fear me. Make her body mine.
Bad deeds never go unpunished … And I always go out with a bang.

It’s a dark, thrilling journey of two people clashing over love, lust, and hatred. Heed the warning. Contains graphic violence, alcohol, drugs & other disturbing content.
Stalker is a whole new entity from Clarissa Wild. Unlike her previous dark romances, Stalker takes things a little darker, flirting with the line of consent and dipping a toe into the vaguely sadistic. I was so intrigued by the blurb and after reading the prequel novella, Killer, I knew I’d have to see Phoenix and Vanessa’s story through. Vanessa’s life is in a totally different place than it was when we first met her in Killer and Phoenix has spent years allowing his anger towards her to simmer. When they come face to face once again things explode into chaos. Clarissa Wild has crafted a journey that is different and totally outside the box with this one and I found it incredibly thrilling. Stalker is a story that is riddled with scorching hatred, furious passion, and beautiful brutality that will make your heart race and leave you feeling absolutely raw.
“Time has changed us. It’s not been kind to us, and neither will I be kind to her. Not anymore. She wasted that chance, and now I’m going to lay waste to her.”
One of the things about this story that caught me by surprise was the history between Phoenix and Vanessa. I knew there was something there, a shared past that had altered their view of one another significantly, but I adored the way that Clarissa Wild told their story. Phoenix and Vanessa’s journey goes way back and we get to explore the development of their relationship over a long period of time. Seeing them both grow and experiencing how their lives changed, allowed me to really understand these characters. Seeing the big picture gave me an appreciation of the emotions and fears driving their current experiences. Clarissa Wild really broke Phoenix and Vanessa down to completely expose them to the reader, allowing for a connection to be made with her characters. Clarissa’s character development continues to impress me, growing and improving with each and every book she writes. Just when I think it can’t get any better, she proves me wrong.
“There’s nothing redeemable about us. Nothing that makes us good. Nothing that makes us worthy of love. Not me or her.”
So much of this story had me dancing on the fine line between slightly horrified and deeply fascinated. I was floored by the masterful way in which Clarissa Wild can take something unsettling and present it with such desire and need. The steam factor in this book is off the charts entirely, with the temperature sitting at volcanic levels. Vanessa and Phoenix’s chemistry has been crafted so carefully that there is no mistaking how volatile they are together. Clarissa really blew me away with her ability to build such a contradictory and unexpected atmosphere with Stalker. This book was dark, deadly, and addictive. I drank down the poison that Clarissa Wild handed over and let it consume me, reveling in the intense hate of Stalker and the underlying romance that quietly simmered. Stalker was twisted, troubling, and absolutely unpredictable. If you like dark romance with some serious heat, Stalker is definitely one you’ll want to read!
She consumed me.
She ruined my life.
And I will destroy her in return.
Growling, I pick up the nearest pot of flowers and smash it into the wall. Fuck. That feels good. I need to feel the rage again, so I can connect with my thirst for revenge. Fucking with her has sucked out a bit of my will to hurt her, and I don’t get why. I thought humiliating her like that would make the revenge sweet as hell. Instead, it only made me hungry for more.
I can’t stand the thought of having her near me, but I can’t stand the thought of letting her go. As much as I despise her, I still have these uncontrollable urges when I’m around her. I constantly lust after her. All I think about is tasting those sweet, delicious lips, burying my cock in her wet, yielding pussy, and claiming her as my own. Just as I should have done a long time ago.
Fucking hell. I’m a weak son of a bitch.
I pick up another vase and throw it at the wall, watching it shatter it into a million bits. The wall dents, but my pent-up rage is still not under control. I can’t stop thinking about her, and I hate it. I fucking hate it!
Why do I torture myself like this?
Grinding my teeth, I shake my head and knock on my temple with my fist. “Keep yourself together, Phoenix. You can do this. You can punish her. You can make her bleed. Remember what she did,” I tell myself over and over again.
Memories of her smiling as she sees me in jail get me fuming and ready for the next attack. Maybe I had a moment of weakness. Maybe I do want to fuck her until she can no longer stand. Maybe I still want to hear her scream my name. But now, I can use my filthy lust to my advantage. Her body is my playground, and I’ll use it in whatever way I deem necessary to get the job done. If it means carving her with my knife, I’ll do just that. If it means shoving my cock into her throat and making her come from my voice alone, I’ll do just that.
Sex isn’t just to feel good. I can use it as a tool to make her feel like a dirty whore. It’ll be my weapon of choice. My cock will bring her to her knees. I’ll have her begging for mercy before she dies.
