He was supposed to be her prince charming. Marriage was supposed to be her happily ever after.
It was all a lie.
After discovering the betrayal of her fairytale, Carly Carrington must find the resolve to piece her splintered life back together. With the help of her closest friend and the affection from an unexpectedly charismatic man, she finds herself on a path not-so-easily taken.
Love is a four letter word to Campbell Williams. Growing up as an orphaned foster child, Campbell avoided situations that could hand her even more loss. Coming to the rescue of her friend, Carly, she quickly finds herself in need of being saved herself, but will she allow herself to accept the lifeline from the one man brave enough to take her on?
Both battle the challenges thrown at them to protect their battered hearts, but when the fear finally fades, will love deliver them from evil?
Deliver Her from Evil is an adult contemporary novel and is not intended for younger readers due to mature content.
Deliver Her From Evil is the perfect conclusion to the Redemption series. M.L. Steinbrunn has managed to take this beautifully broken group of characters and permanently embed them in my heart with this final story. While Deliver Her From Evil mainly focuses on Carly and Campbell, this book really encompasses the sense of family that shines throughout this series. We get to glimpse Vivian, Brooks, Jen, and Casen, along with their growing families. The familiarity of this crew filled me with a sense of peace, as if I was catching up with old friends. Carly and Campbell’s personal journeys broke my heart, as they both faced their own versions of losing home. This book overflowed with emotion, drowning me in the story until I was completely lost to it.
“Remember forgiveness and the beauty this life has to offer you. Forget the bad, the sadness, all of the things that could break you. Let this be a reminder that no matter where you are, you are loved.”
Campbell got under my skin the moment we met her in the first book. Her quiet strength and thoughtful demeanor totally intrigued me. I was drawn to her introspection and profound commentary on her roommates’ lives. M.L. Steinbrunn delivers the truth of this character in Deliver Her From Evil, relaying a story of disappointment and pain that tore at my heart. Her chemistry with Lakin, which has been sizzling for a while, seems to have kicked up several notches in this book, giving their storyline an addictive quality. Carly’s personal struggles left me feeling defeated, hurting with the lies and betrayal that was unraveling around her. Her relationship with Royce definitely grew on me as M.L. showed us a totally different side to this complex man. All of our main characters did a lot of growing over the course of this novel, being forced to face their demons, accept their paths, and fight for the love they deserve.
“When my lips touch hers, I taste a future I never thought I would have, and with every passing second I become more and more addicted to a love I could never let go of.”
The storyline in Deliver Her From Evil is just as gripping as ever. M.L. Steinbrunn has once again laced this story with surprises that kept me addicted. The emotional component of this story rests heavily upon M.L.’s family of characters, stirring up feelings that had me grinning, cringing, and shedding a few tears. Things moved quickly in this story, our couples falling hard and fast. The swiftness of their relationships however seemed completely justified by the friendships and events of the previous two books. This book really is the total package, filled with humor and incredible heart. M.L. Steinbrunn did an amazing job at bringing this story back around, especially with the addition of Leah. Deliver Her From Evil was satisfying and beautiful, leaving my heart feeling full and my mind at peace. While I’m sad to see this crazy, fabulous family go, I just know M.L. Steinbrunn will be bringing as much happiness, hope, and vibrancy to her next writing adventure.

Colorado native M.L. Steinbrunn is new to the professional literary community, but has been in love with the world of fictional characters and plot twists since she was a child. Writing short stories and reading anything she could get her hands on, it could be argued that her hobby borders on an obsession.
She works full-time as a middle school and high school educator and coach in rural Colorado where she and her husband are raising their three young children. Through education she has enjoyed guiding others on their paths and helping students build their stories. After countless evenings of discussing story ideas, it was her husband who encouraged her to follow her own path and publish her first novel.
She recently published her debut romance novel Forgive Us Our Trespasses, which was released in March of 2014. It is the first in a series of intertwined stand-alone novels. Book two, Lead Him Not Into Temptation will be released in August of 2014.
In her free time M.L. enjoys travelling, Amazon one-clicking, watching movies, chauffeuring her children to their one and half million activities, and people watching.
She would like to add a big thank you to everyone that has been overwhelmingly supportive of this incredibly scary yet exciting journey.
