Author – J.A. Huss
Publication Date – January 28, 2015
Battered, barefoot, and huddled under a bookstore awning in the pouring rain, Blue only knows one thing. After fifteen months of captivity, finally… she is free.
Self-made millionaires JD and Ark are not out to save anyone when they stumble upon a wet and shivering girl one early Sunday morning. But when you sell sex for a living and salvation rings your bell… you answer the call.
After years of searching, love lifts the veil of darkness, and three people—with three very big secrets—find themselves bound together in a relationship that defies the odds.
Or does it?
Love. Lust. Sex.
This trinity might be perfection… but not everything should come in 3’s.
WARNING: This is a non-traditional M/F/M ROMANCE with a non-traditional ending.
Three Two One by J.A. Huss was absolutely breathtaking, incredibly gripping, and full of edge of your seat excitement. There were also some seriously hot scenes that got your blood pumping in all the right ways. This book is one where you will find yourself promising to just read one more chapter, yet losing sleep because it’s nearly impossible to put down.
“How did I find two people with more secrets than me, at just the moment when I needed it most?”
The three central characters were all beyond broken in their own ways, yet together they formed a family of sorts and fit together like a puzzle somehow. They were each lacking in some ways, while also having their own individual strengths. JD’s charm was utterly captivating and could be felt through the words on the page; the way he is written draws you in like a moth to a flame, despite the anger issues he is harboring. Much like Blue did, you’ll find yourself developing a soft spot for him as time goes on. Then you have Ark who has left bread crumbs throughout the entire book that there’s something bigger happening. He is a control freak, but an artist that you can’t help but develop a crush on him. I honestly don’t even know how to describe our leading lady, Blue. She was more broken than either of the men, but had it together at the same time. She was so complex and layered and it made me adore her even more.
“I believe in fate instead of luck”
The reason why Huss has become such a favorite author of mine is because her books are never what you expect them to be. Not that I quite knew what to expect from Three Two One but I can tell you it far surpassed any preconceived notions that I had. There is so much going on during this novel, but it’s like a magic trick with slight of the hand. While you’re focused on the relationship dynamic, there are hints being dropped about a bigger picture storyline. On the other side of the coin, while you’re being shocked by some major event, there’s a total epiphany happening in the relationship. Huss has a true gift and talent for her writing, and I’m incredibly grateful that I have discovered it.
“She is not one lost girl. We are not two best friends. We are one trinity of perfection.”
This book is, without a doubt, J.A. Huss’s best work to date. It has everything in it that you could possibly want; romance, hot as sin sex, intrigue, and twists to keep you guessing. The writing is superb and the characters are unforgettable. The ending to Three Two One is what captured me the most; it was just utter perfection. Huss knows how to write a story that will sink its teeth into you and keep you interested, but it is now clear to me that she can also write one that will leave you with goosebumps and a permanent mark.

. A. Huss likes to write new adult books that make you think and keep you guessing. Her favorite genre to read is space opera, but since practically no one reads those books, she writes new adult science fiction, paranormal romance, contemporary romance, urban fantasy, and books about Junco (who refuses to be saddled with a label).
She has an undergraduate degree in horses, (yes, really–Thank you, Colorado State University) and a master’s degree in forensic toxicology from the University of Florida. She used to have a job driving around Colorado doing pretty much nothing but shooting the breeze with farmers, but now she just writes, runs the New Adult Addiction and Clean Teen Reads Book Blogs, and runs an online science classroom for homeschoolers.
