Please Sir

Allison Coleman is done mourning the death of her marriage. She’s done hiding her fantasies, her deepest desires.

Told that it’s dirty and classless to want anything other than routine, vanilla sex, Allison had given up hope that she would ever be able to experience the things she longed for.

Her curiosity leads her to the doors of HJR Services, a business that provides safe, sane, and consensual training sessions with a Master for those who want to experience what it’s like to be a sexual submissive.

Finding herself in the presence of Master J, Allison is unsure that this is right for her, but she knows she owes it to herself to try. After all, there is a good chance that she was Born For This.

Please, Sir is a sexy and fun novella that I devoured in one sitting. I loved the premise of this book; it was a fresh take on the dom storyline. This book is part of a series, but each volume focuses on a different couple so this story is complete and totally satisfying. Leigha Taylor did a great job at setting the pace for this story. Despite the short time frame, things never felt too rushed. I loved watching Allison stretch her wings and come into her own. She was a heroine you could really get behind and love.

“Furiously brushing mascara on my lashes, I finish primping and gather my things. Phone? Check. Keys? Check. Heart? Oops. I forgot. He already has that.”

Leigha Taylor’s writing has grown a lot since her debut novel. Her story is concise, her characters well developed, and the steam factor is just right. The relationship between Master J and Lila was absolutely scorching and I could practically feel the intensity and passion from the moment they met. Allison and Jesse, on the other hand, gave off that distinct vibe of two people with a genuine, deep emotional connection between them. It was this dichotomy that totally had me enthralled by this book.

“Every beat of this heart in my chest belongs to you, and if something is hurting you, it’s hurting me.”

Please, Sir also introduced us to a couple other characters that have already grabbed my attention. We don’t know much, but I know I can’t wait to hear their stories in the upcoming novellas. If you’re looking for a hot, fun, flirty and surprisingly sweet read, then this book is the perfect one-click for you. Fall in love with the deliciously filthy Master J, swoon for the charismatic Jesse and cheer for Allison as she finds her confidence and strength. While you one-click, I’ll be here waiting for the next installment in the Born For This series!
