Review

Ah! With each new release in the Social Media series, I’m finding myself falling deeper and deeper in love with these characters. Aside from the increasing character development, the writing just keeps getter better. I know a lot of people are hesitant to begin a serial because of the very nature of them, but I am officially a believer that if done the right way, like this one, they can be absolutely fabulous!

“I might not be your prince, but I think you’re my princess.”

After Like, everything is okay in the relationship department until Grace sees a news story, coupled with Vaughn’s no communication, and ends up thinking the worst. She flies to Vegas for a client’s wedding, gets drunk, and ends up in a sticky situation. Vaughn’s feelings end up being tested and he ends up having to prove himself. He’s able to let go of his dominating controlling demeanor and realize how much Grace truly means to him. For readers who may have been calling him a jerk or disliked his Dom personality in the first couple books, you realize in Block that he is definitely not one-dimensional. I found myself swooning in this one more than usually do. As for Grace, I still absolutely love her fierceness and her strong desire to be independent. She’s submissive, yet still questions everything. Grace is honestly such a fun character to read, and I can’t imagine being able to write her.

“Tonight you win, Grace. You win. I’ll be yours if you’ll be mine.”

Overall, I’m seriously loving this serial! It’s hot, refreshing, and utterly relevant! Each installment makes for such a quick, fun read and definitely gets my juices flowing. The writing is remarkable and the characters feel so realistic, despite being from opposite ends of the track. Block is left on a little bit more of a cliffhanger than the previous two books, so I’m pretty sure I’ll be salivating waiting for the next piece…thank goodness it’s only two weeks!

Author Bio

JA Huss

J. A. Huss likes to write new adult books that make you think and keep you guessing. Her favorite genre to read is space opera, but since practically no one reads those books, she writes new adult science fiction, paranormal romance, contemporary romance, urban fantasy, and books about Junco (who refuses to be saddled with a label).

She has an undergraduate degree in horses, (yes, really–Thank you, Colorado State University) and a master’s degree in forensic toxicology from the University of Florida. She used to have a job driving around Colorado doing pretty much nothing but shooting the breeze with farmers, but now she just writes, runs the New Adult Addiction and Clean Teen Reads Book Blogs, and runs an online science classroom for homeschoolers.
